I prefer to use natural healing products, usually essential oils, tinctures, and herbs. So, I was really excited when I was asked to review Noxicare Natural Pain Relief Cream. Excited for a couple of reasons, it's natural, the ingredient list is short, and I know what each of them are, and because I could actually get Big T to use it. He loves his dear hippie wife, and he'll change and wash cloth diapers, use homemade cleaning supplies, make sure to buy raw, local honey, and doesn't even complain about our total lack of disposable paper products. But, he draws the line at my hippie medicine. He would rather take cold and flu tablets with who knows what in them than a shot of my master tonic...though, that stuff could peel the paint off the walls, so um.... Anywho. Because this comes in a tube, he'll use it. I would much rather him use something natural, than something with all kinds of chemicals and what not in it.
It arrived in the mail, and I was stoked to try it on my knees, and back, which have both bothered me for years. I also wanted Big T to try it, he had to have his knee scoped a few years back and it still bothers him a lot. When I opened the tube I was a little concerned by the color, it is YELLOW, and I mean bright yellow.
I couldn't really get a good picture of it, but it's like safety vest yellow. However, I turned the bottle over and saw turmeric listed and that made sense. I was worried it wouldn't rub in clearly and leave my skin tinted or greasy. It didn't at all. It rubs in clear, and dries quickly, and it has no smell whatsoever. When you apply it you feel a little cooling sensation, nothing at all uncomfortable, just a little "hey, I'm working" and then before you know it, you're like; "I was in pain...what happened?" It does work, really well. Even Mr. Natural Medicine Hater agreed, and he's been using it after work in the evenings.
Overall, this is a great, effective, natural product, and I highly recommend it. And, I am going to be giving away a full size tube to one of you awesome readers! It retails for $26.95/3.5 oz. tube. But, you can enter below for your chance at a free tube.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
