How do I get myself into these messes? It happens every single time.

Had I not left work early that day, Stephen and I would still be together. One simple phone call, that’s all it would have taken. My world wouldn’t have fallen apart, and I wouldn’t be single going into the holidays.

My well-meaning friend decided to set me up on some disastrous blind dates hoping I’d find love for the holidays. Yeah, right. Getting back on the horse isn’t always the best course of therapy.

Until she set me up with him… Jaydon, the billionaire. From the minute I saw him, I knew he was the one. I had no idea what he saw in me, an ordinary girl without a cent to her name. Still, he kept coming back.

What I wasn’t prepared for was all of the baggage that came along with him. If this is what dating a billionaire is all about, I’m not sure if I want it. Lavish lifestyles are one thing, but being blindsided is something else. I don’t know what to do or where to turn. Maybe I’ll turn to him, maybe I won’t.

Will Lily and Jaydon make it past the obstacles that stand in their way, or will Lily have to endure one more blind date?

Love sparks and passion ignites as Lily and Jaydon embark on a romantic holiday journey. Will they make through the season to celebrate the Yuletide festivities this Christmas?
First of all, this isn't a "first in series" it's the first few chapters. I think that's important to note. Second, it was a waste of time. I can usually find something redeemable about everything I read, but not this time. The writing is just...blah. There's nothing that makes me want to read more. It's very stiffly written. It's basically written in the same way that you would tell a story to a friend, not in the way that you would bring a reader into your world and make them fall in love with your characters. I was not a fan at all.
